The Wedding Company, an emerging name in India’s wedding tech space, has raised $1 million in pre-seed funding. The round was led by LVX (formerly LetsVenture) and Tremis Capital, with key backing from:

  • Chaitanya Ramalingegowda – Co-founder, Wakefit

  • Ajith Pai – COO, Delhivery

  • Arash Ferdowsi – Co-founder, Dropbox

This funding marks a significant milestone for the company as it works to digitize India’s massive $130 billion wedding industry.

Founded in 2023 by Pawan Gupta (MIT alum, YC-backed) and Rahul Namdev, the startup aims to bring order, transparency, and technology to a traditionally fragmented sector.
