Key Highlights of the Funding Round:

  • Scaling Operations: The funding will fuel the expansion of WeVOIS’s operations across India, enabling them to reach a wider customer base and impact more communities.
  • Center of Excellence: A key focus will be the establishment of a state-of-the-art Center of Excellence for advanced waste processing. This cutting-edge facility will serve as a hub for research, development, and innovation in waste management technologies.
  • Technological Advancements: WeVOIS will utilize the funds to further develop its proprietary technology, including AI-powered route optimization algorithms, real-time waste tracking, and predictive maintenance for waste collection vehicles.
  • Sustainable Solutions: The company plans to invest in the development and deployment of sustainable waste processing technologies, such as textile waste recycling facilities and bio-CNG plants, to convert organic waste into clean energy.

A Step Towards a Sustainable Future

“This funding marks a significant milestone in our journey to transform India’s waste management sector,” said Abhinav Shekhar Vashistha, Co-founder and CTO of WeVOIS. “We will utilize these resources to establish a state-of-the-art Centre of Excellence, a first-of-its-kind facility in India. Our focus is on developing and commercializing innovative solutions that significantly reduce waste and its environmental impact.”
